Rodney Aguiar

Een proper voorbeeld van een "Bobber"-Boxer. Knap handwerk ook al zal dit niet de favoriet zijn van de merkfanaten.

Hieronder de engelstalige uitleg bij de foto. "Rod’s bike originally started as an 83 BMW R80 ST. He custom made the frame, keeping the engine cradle. The rear shock is from a 50 GSXR1000. The forks are from a 96 GSXR 750. The engine and trans are powder coated wrinkle black. He also put new bearings in the engine and trans, had the heads gone thru, and put in new pistons and rings as well. The swing arm and final drive are from a Highway Patrol BMW R1150RTP. The gas tank is custom made for the bike. Rod pulled the original ignition off the ST and replaced it with the complete computer from a 96 BMW R1100. He used one throttle body and put an injector in each intake manifold. The system runs a 02 sensor, TPS, air temp, two crank triggers, and a timing valve sensor. The turbo is from a Mitsubishi car that is unknown. Rod’s bike originally started as an 83 BMW R80 ST. He custom made the frame, keeping the engine cradle. The rear shock is from a 50 GSXR1000.
